Silver rings inspired by the splendor of coral. Scarfs that remind of the lush Nepal mountains. Bronze sculptures that show people once met in a vast desert. Each creation is a true one of a kind. Handcrafted Masterpieces that reflect the life, passion and imagination of Jolanta Izabela. Now attending BWC with her Collections of Jewelry and Works of Art.
“Ambition is often related to goals such as success and wealth. I am no different, but maybe my definitions of success and wealth are a little different. Especially for someone in the business of creating jewelry…
To me success is doing where my passion lies. To follow my instinct and heart, creating works that I am proud of. Masterpieces. Regardless of just financial success, creating works that reflect my travels, my experiences and meets all over the world
My personal success is to look at my works of art or remembering projects with a smile. Happy with the things I am doing and surrounded by the people I love. This also relates to my view on wealth. Wealthy in mind and soul is much more important than wealth in the pocket but poor at heart. In a way my ambition is to show this during my workshops too, let people feel how it is to create. Hands in the clay, the process of creating and be astound afterwards. Wow, did i just do that?”
“The universe strives to be in harmony. One cannot go without the other, no light without darkness. Contrast. That is how I see balance and to me it is an ordeal to find it. Since I am an artist in everything I do, there is no bigger contrast than a brush in one hand and a calculator in the other. But it takes both to live in harmony.”
“It would be a true luxury to just create and have no worries about the business side of being an artist. Especially since I am here in Holland and like many artists who in the past built a name abroad, have to reinvent themselves and build a name again.
So. next to jewelry and all the art things i love I am also working on my website and webshop, the more commercial aspects and I hope to show my collections and art online soon. Also a nice example of balance… online and offline.”
